French travelers on arrival in Panama (Mandatory Quarantine)

The Ministry of Health of Panama (MINSA) informs that any person who enters the national territory from countries with sources of infection, must remain in mandatory quarantine in their hotels or home for 14 days. List of countries that are part of the measure: China, Korea, Iran, Italy, Spain, Germany and France.

All travelers are required to undergo a temperature measurement and have to answer questions to verify where they have stayed in recent weeks.

They are asked for their personal information (address and phone number) in case the authorities need to contact them.

The measures taken by local authorities could be modified depending on the evolution of the Coronavirus and are, in most cases, immediately applicable.

It is important to verify the confirmation of your flights to Panama in the different airlines and to consult the website and social networks of the Embassy of Panama in France daily, as well as the recommendations established by the Ministry of Health of Panama.

Depending on the evolution of the health situation in the country, the Panamanian authorities are susceptible to establishing entry restrictions into Panamanian territory.
